Ford Park

“Ford Park is a much loved and well used community park in Ulverston: home to a small plant nursery, a volunteer program, café and dozens of events each year. For 25 years it has been owned and managed by a charity on behalf of the community, and in 2023 Baywind Energy Community Trust funded the installation of 21 solar panels on our outbuildings which has enabled the charity to save significant expenditure on energy, money which can be put back into the park and improve it for its users. This has made a huge difference for the charity and helps us to enact our environmentally conscious values.”
